ASOS Pop-Up Shop

In a SCAD Retail Management course, our final project consisted of a group project where we had to choose a brand and create a pop-up shop experience for them. The project consisted of conducting consumer research, analyzing the best location for the pop-up shop, and doing competitor research to decide what the brand could improve.

My group chose to expand the ASOS brand in order to reach an American consumer, considering the success that the brand has in the United Kingdom. As ASOS’s style best fits the influencer and reality show demographic, Los Angeles was the best fit for the pop-up shop.

I was in charge of conducting a SWOT analysis, analyzing the best retail location in Los Angeles, creating mock-ups of the in-store pop-up experience, researching the existing strategy of ASOS, and assisting with consumer research. Below are some examples of my work within the project:

Mock Moschino Non-Traditional Fashion Show

In a SCAD class called Non-Traditional Retailing, we were asked to design an off-runway style fashion show, for the digital age. I chose Moschino and designed a non-traditional fashion show in the style of a choose-your-own-adventure music video.

Moschino’s Spring 2022 collection played on the nostalgia of audiences, therefore I chose to continue this theme through their non-traditional digital fashion show.

In this project I conducted thorough research into the success of the theme of nostalgia, preparation for the style of the music video, designing of the social media campaign and distribution of the content, as well as forming the budget for the campaign.
